“ Waroeng Sate Kardjan is one of the best satay I've ever had! This is a legendary satay restaurant with a very humble location. Suitable for a low-key dining with family or friends. Foods here are top notch. I ordered beef and lamb satay, both are so tender! They serve the satay on hotplates to preserve the heat, real clever! The lamb (kambing) is very tender, no smell and juicy. You can request for the fat cuts (gajih) too, makes it super juicy! I also ordered tongseng and gulai kambing. I personally like the gulai much better, it's creamy and rich in spices. For the tongseng, I recommend to add a bit of soy sauce in it to give a bit of oomph there. If you're planning to eat here, I recommend to order iced orange, it will complete your palate! Will definitely come back here! ”
“ Visited solo and got 10 sticks of chicken satay to try it out. Satay by itself is pretty good, juicy chicken grilled to perfection and coated with a very nice sauce. However, I'm very disappointed with their peanut sauce, it's pretty bland and tasteless. I enjoyed pairing the stay with the sweet soy sauce a lot more. Shop itself is a medium size area with outdoor and indoor seating without air conditioner. Feels like a perfect place to chill and hang out with friends. ”
